21、Point your cameras toward the sky as February’s full moon, nicknamed the snow moon, will make its appearance from midnight Tuesday to midnight Thursday, according to NASA.
The snow moon will be at its brightest on February 16 at 11:57 a.m. American East Time, but the best time to view it will be after sunset. As a bonus, the moon will be above the east-northeastern horizon on Wednesday evening, which will place it near Regulus, a bright star.
February’s full moon will be generally visible in areas around the world that do not have dense cloud coverage. It will be below the horizon at the South Pole, though, and therefore not viewable from that area.
A large storm system forecast for the central and eastern United States is expected to bring cloud cover, making moongazing difficult Wednesday night into Thursday morning, especially for anyone east of the Rockies, according to CNN Meteorologist Haley Brink.
The best places in the US to view the full moon will be portions of the Southwest and California, where clearer skies are expected.
There are 10 full moons left in 2022, with two of them qualifying as supermoons. Here is a list of the remaining moons for 2022, according to the Farmers’ Almanac:
• March 18: Worm moon • April 16: Pink moon
• May 16: Flower moon • June 14: Strawberry moon
• July 13: Buck moon • August 11: Sturgeon moon
• September 10: Harvest moon • October 9: Hunter’s moon
• November 8: Beaver moon • December 7: Cold moon
While these are the popularized names associated with the monthly full moons, the significance of each one may vary across Native American tribes.

22、 A textbook exchange is a business that buys and sells college textbooks. Textbooks can represent a significant part of a student’s education budget. By purchasing used textbooks or selling unneeded books to a textbook exchange, students can reduce their expenses significantly. 【1】Today, online textbook exchanges offer the service to nearly all locations.
Unlike the textbooks used in public education courses, college textbooks are required by only a small percentage of the university student population. These textbooks are often written by famous experts in a given field and sometimes by college professors themselves.【2】
Traditionally, university bookstores were the only sources for required textbooks. The success of bookstores that buy and sell used books inspired some businesses to copy the process for textbooks. A textbook exchange will purchase textbooks from students who have completed courses and no longer need the materials. 【3】 This can benefit students who are struggling to meet their tuition and living expenses.
Textbook exchanges on the Internet can accept used books from students anywhere in the world and deliver them almost anywhere through standard package delivery services. 【4】 They can compare prices on a national or even international level and choose the most reasonably-priced editions.
【5】 In addition to easing the financial burden on their fellow students, the business also gives the students experience in business skills, such as doing online marketing, analyzing pricing structures, and maintaining profit margins (利润).
A.As a result, they are usually very expensive.
B.Used textbooks can be bought in many ways.
C.It is aimed to fight the rising cost of college textbooks.
D.Such exchanges were once only found near large universities.
E.In fact, business students can even create their own online textbook exchanges.
F.Therefore, students are not limited to the books at their local university bookstores.
G.Then the business can re-sell the used books at a price much lower than their original costs.

24、 During a visit to the United Arab Emirates, I was invited to speak to college students to learn more about how the country is preparing the next generation for the future. I met with students who were required to present their final projects in a three-minute presentation to members of the ruling family. Now, that is pressure. But learning the art of public speaking is no longer an option to succeed in the 21st century; it is fundamental.
Educators who I have met across the Middle East, Europe and Asia say that they are elevating the art of public speaking to a core requirement along with math and science. Chris Anderson, the curator (负责人) of TED, encourages schools in the United States to make “presentation literacy” a requirement in elementary schools. There is a wrinkle, however. According to an article in The Atlantic, some American middle-school and high-school students are advocating for the elimination (取消) of mandatory (强制的) in-class, presentations.
Their anxiety is real. Psychology professor Matthew Lieberman writes in book, “Our brains crave the positive evaluation of others almost to an embarrassing degree.” That’s why most of us get anxious about public speaking. Anxiety can turn into full-blown panic attacks or create lifelong fears.
As an author whose books are used in public speaking classes around the world, I will explain why public speaking skills are more important than ever. Persuasion — one person convincing another to change their mind — is now responsible for 25 percent of Americas total income, according to Deirdre McCloskey at the University of Illinois. The percentage will rise to 40 percent soon, she assured me. It is a terrible idea to reduce public speaking opportunities in class at a time when students need the skills it can give them to succeed. Today anyone who is better at presenting their ideas can see a sudden, massive increase in wealth that is unprecedented in human history.
In the age of ideas, public speaking is one of the greatest skills that students need in order to learn, grow, and inspire the rest of us to dream bigger. If students enjoy the process of building the necessary skill set, they will learn to love public speaking.
【1】What can we learn from Paragraph 1?
A.Public speaking is essential in preparing for the future.
B.Students don’t have to choose the course of public speaking.
C.The ruling family plays a key role in judging the presentation.
D.College students are under pressure in preparing the introduction.
【2】What does the underlined word in Paragraph 2 probably mean?
A.Simple case.
B.New idea.
C.Small problem.
D.Strong belief.
【3】Matthew Lieberman is telling us that ________.
A.we long for the positive judgment terribly
B.good public speaking skills can promote our confidence
C.we feel embarrassed when expecting positive evaluation
D.public speaking can make us feel scared rather than anxious
【4】Which of the following is the benefit of public speaking?
A.It can help persuade others to change their mind.
B.Good speakers can see huge rise in their income.
C.It will offer students skills to make a great success.
D.It encourages students to live a wealthy life in the future.
【5】What is the passage mainly about?
A.It scares students to make a speech publicly.
B.Presentations is a steppingstone for student’s future.
C.We can improve speaking skills in many effective ways.
D.Confidence in presentation increases if one is well prepared.
