Inventions
	The first telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. It made communications easier. But the telephones were only fixed in post offices. People had to go there to make calls to faraway people and the fees were very high. Later, a cellphone was developed in 1973 in America. It was one of the most useful inventions. People can use cellphones to communicate with others much more easily. 25、There was a young man named Bill in England. Before leaving school, he began to look for a job. Few companies needed new clerks due to the financial crisis (金融危机) at that time. Discover a collection of rare drawings by Katsushika Hokusal.

Katsushika Hokusai (1760—1849) was one of Japan’s most celebrated artists. He was best known for his woodblock print series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, which contain the prints The Great Wave, Waterwheel at Onden and Fine Wind, Clear Morning.

In a global first, this exhibition will display 103 Hokusai’s drawings, which were produced in the 1820—1840s , The Great Picture Book of Everything for reasons unknown, the book was never published, so this is a perfect chance to see these mare drawings and study Hokusai’s unique style and skill.

In addition to the original brush drawings, the exhibition will once again display Hokusai’s masterpiece The Great Wave and objects that show how he created woodblock prints step by step.
