  • 24、This year, Kris became the producer of The Rap of China again, and liked to use freestyle, skr -similar to "Ouch, great" and diss on the show and on his regular microblog to get more people to know the words. Hip-Hop music includes old school and new school. Kris is the leader of new school in China.

Do you like Hip-Hop? Hi-Hop is now very popular in the world. Hip-Hop is a new kind of music. Today, Hip-Hop music is a big business. Hip-Hop artists make millions of dollars. They are superstars and have many fans all over the world. But Hip-Hop wasn't always so popular. It is only about thirty years old. When Hip-Hop music first developed in the late 1970s, not many people knew about it. It was created in the poorest districts of New York City by African American and Latino teenagers as part of a Hip-Hop scene that also produced break dancing(霹雳舞) and graffiti art(涂鸦艺术). Many of these young people were unemployed, but some found work as DJs in discos where they'd ask a friend to act as their MC. The MC would introduce the DJ and encourage everyone to dance and have a good time. Some MCs tried to be more entertaining by talking in time to the beat of the music and using rhymes, and by doing this they invented rapping. Hip-Hop started in New York. Young people in New York wanted to make music, but they had a problem. Many of them did not have enough money to buy expensive instruments. They also did not have any place to practice. Hip-Hop was the perfect answer to this problem, as Hip-Hop artists did not need any special instruments and they could practice anywhere.

Do you like dancing? Do you think dancing is difficult? Breakdancing is a very difficult kind of dancing. People dance to Hip-Hop music. Breakdancers have to be very strong and fast. Breakdancing started in the 1980s at the same time as Hip-Hop. At first, breakdancing was like fighting. Breakdancers had "battles". Each breakdancer did his best to dance in the contest. Then the people who were watching decided which breakdancer was the best. The winner didn't get any money, but they didn't care. Dancers just wanted to be the best breakdancer on their street.

Today, people break dance all over the world. There are professional breakdancing contests. Winners can get a lot of money, and sometimes they are on TV. Just like Hip-Hop, breakdancing is now a big business.

The opening ceremony开幕式) of the Tokyo Summer Olympics will be on July 24, 2020. One year before the event, its medal designs(奖牌设计) were shown, CBS News reported.

However, the medals are quite different from the ones seen in other Olympics. People used old cell phones and other electronic waste to make them!

The organizing committee chose the medal designs by holding a competition. Competitors brought 400 designs. The winner was 51-year-old designer Junichi Kawanishi, the Guardian wrote.

The medals look like pebbles(鹅卵石) and are 8.5 cm in diameter(直径). The front face has a picture of Nike, the Greek goddess of victory.

The committee will make 5,000 medals for this summer's games. Japan is the first Olympic host country to make all of its medals from electronic waste.

1The Olympics will be held in Japan this summer.

2The medals are different mostly because it has a picture of Nike in the front face.

The husband replied. “I missed a new job opportunity.” When she was 35, the husband angrily told her that he had just missed the bus. • 27、The FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar and exciting moment is truly coming. It’s the world’s biggest international soccer game and also the most-watched sporting event in the world. There are 32 teams competing to win. This year’s game looks to be particularly unique (独一无二). What makes it different from the ones before?

For starters, it’s the first time the game has been held in the Middle East after Qatar beat other host competitors—the US, South Korea, Japan and Australia back in 2010. It’s also the first time in history the game is happening during the Northern Hemisphere (北半球) winter months, from Nov 20 to Dec 18.

That’s because Qatar is a desert country, and in summer the temperature can be as high as 42℃. That’s way too hot to play outdoor sports. But it will still be pretty warm in winter. The temperature in the stadium (体育场) is expected to be around 20℃ to 30℃. Air conditioning (空调) will help to keep it cooler.

Qatar is also the smallest nation by area to host the cup. They’ll be playing the first match of the game, facing Ecuador (厄瓜多尔). It’s Qatar’s first-ever FIFA World Cup game. This makes them the first country to host their debut (首秀) game since Italy in 1934!

There may be new challenges for many players too. Besides the hot weather, for European teams like England, France, Germany and Spain, it’s only just over a year since their last big international game, the UEFA Champions League (欧联杯).

According to FIFA’s rankings (排名), the favorites to win the game this year are Brazil, followed by Argentina and France.
