Are you happy? Perhaps, some of you would say “no”. Indeed, being a teenager is hard. You may worry about your homework, exams and social life.
You are not alone. A recent survey(调查) by Beijing Academy of Educational Science shows that many Chinese teenagers suffer from social life, study and emotional problems. About 30 to 60 percent of teenagers who take a break from school do so because of mental health problems according to the survey.
The serious situation has draw much attention from experts, schools and teachers. The International Conference on Happiness Education and Positive Mental Health Education was held in Beijing from May 21 to May 23. About 40 experts around the world shared their findings and advice on the problem. Also, the International Happiness Education Consortium(联盟)was set up.
