24、 Famous and rich people can usually afford a nice home, a comfortable bed and delicious food. But on November 15, 2015, two famous people called Dickinson and Burke slept outside on the ground in only sleeping bags. That night, it was cold and the temperature dropped to zero degree.
Dickinson is a famous host from a TV show. Burke is a manager of a hockey (曲棍球 ) team. Both of them have plenty of money and can afford nice houses.
They slept in such a hard condition to help raise money for Covenant House, which provides shelter (居所) to homeless kids in Toronto and other big Canadian cities. During the long cold night, Dickinson couldn’t stay warm and finally gave up sleeping. “I think staying awake is a good choice at this point. There are about 10,000 homeless kids who have to live on the street during the year in Toronto, according to a report from Covenant House. The organization helps about 3,500 homeless kids every year.

25、 When you feel a sneeze (喷嚏) or cough coming on, covering your mouth prevents the spread of germs (细菌). You probably knew that.
But how to cover your mouth is very important. You might use tissues(纸巾), and put your used tissues into the bin. "If you don't have tissues, you should sneeze into your elbow, not your hand, even if you are used to doing that. " The doctors advised.
" If somebody sneezes into his hands, those germs will be passed on to other people, or other objects that people touch." said Dr. Hill.
Germs are most commonly spread by sneezing and coughing. When they land on your hands, they are passed from hands to things like bills, door knobs (扶手), elevator buttons (电梯按钮) and other surfaces. At the same time, the people around you can touch them.
This isn't nagging (唠叨). The Centers for Disease Control also suggest that sneezing and coughing into your elbow is necessary. Even the New York City subway officers ask the passengers to cough or sneeze into elbow or use a tissue. "
"The suggestion was taken seriously about 10 years ago. However, most people didn't pay much attention to it. That means the adults may have missed the advice. But children are often taught in school the right way to cough or sneeze. " Dr. Benjamin said.
To be clear, people can't keep away from all the risks in this way, but it's the best choice. At the same time, we'd better wear masks (口罩) and often wash our hands. "Hand washing is one of the most important things people can do to keep healthy. " Dr. Hill said.

26、 Mukbang, a South Korean word, means “eating broadcast(吃播)”. It is an online broadcast in which a host eats tons of food while talking with the people watching him or her. It began in South Korea in around 2010 and has spread all over the world.
Why did mukbang first appear in South Korea? Jeff Yang, an Asian-American cultural critic(评论家), thinks that it’s down to “the loneliness of unmarried or uncoupled South Koreans”. He believes that eating on your own can be hard in a country like South Korea, where social eating is such a long tradition. However, eating alone is becoming increasingly common. It seems that mukbang gives people the feeling that they are part of something larger.
Alice Stride, a spokeswoman for the Campaign to End Loneliness, says, “It might bring someone great comfort to watch mukbang.” She adds that she would be worried if younger people were watching people eat instead of eating with friends or family, but for older people it could be a comfort. “If you can’t get out, if you’re ill for example, then perhaps that will bring you a great sense of comfort. On the whole, though, we would advocate face-to-face communication. It’s something that won’t change.”
“I would always encourage people to do whatever makes them feel better as long as it is a healthy habit,” says Ben Edwards, a relationship expert. “I doubt if mukbang is a healthy way to have a meal. But I think if people feel like watching other people eat, and it gives them some sort of satisfaction, I see no harm.”
